Day 01: Australia - Bangkok
Fly from Australia to this unsleeping city of Bangkok. Upon arrival, transfer to the hotel for 3 nights.
Day 02: Bangkok (B/L)
AM: Visit Grand Palace & Wat Po
It is "a must" for every visitor to Bangkok to visit the Grand Palace Complex, which includes the Temple of The Emerald Buddha, one of Thailand's Holyeasures. The Palace is said to be one of the wonders of the modern World and has within its grounds an exotic Buddhist temple housing a fabulous solid Jade Buddha. Passing through Chinatown your next stop is Wat Po (Temple of the Reclining Buddha), which is the largest and oldest temple in Bangkok. Lunch at local restaurant
PM: KLONG TOUR (Canal Tour)
Cruise in a comfortable motorboat along the Chao Phraya River and the small canals of Thonburi. En-route you will be treated to a view of Thai life-style along the riverbanks (the Bangkok people still depend on the waterways to transport their merchandise). On your return journey, enjoy a visit to the "Temple of Dawn", which stands beside the Chao Phraya River. The 82 meters tall temple is composed of a brick core embedded with millions of fragments of Chinese porcelain)
Day 03: Bangkok - Ayuthaya (B/L)
Excursion to Ayuthaya, located 86 km north of Bangkok, which was Thailand's capital from 1350 AD until 1767 AD before it was destroyed in a Thai-Burmese war. You will visit some of Thailand's most spectacular ruins and temples, which are still maintained in good condition of the majestic town of old Siam. On the return journey there will also be a visit to Bang Pa-in (the summer Palace). Lunch at riverside restaurant is included.
Day 04: Bangkok - Siem Reap (B)
Depart from Bangkok to Siem Reap, a World's famous city of Cambodia. Upon arrival, transfer to the hotel for 3 nights.
Day 05: Siem Reap (B/L)
Visit the crowned jewel of Khmer arts; Angkor Wat, one of the world's seventh wonders at sunrise and get back to the hotel for breakfast. Then visit more of other stunning the world famous Angkorean Complex: Angkor Thom, a fortified Royal City with five monument gates where city's most important monuments including Bayon, Baphuon, the Terrace of Elephants, the Terrace of the Leper King.
Day 06: Siem Reap (B/L)
Morning visit to Ta Prohm temple which is also known as "Jungle Temple" which is one of the most famous Angkor temples and still are in the jungles. Then go on to another delicate temple of Banteay Srei, which was built since 10th Century. On the way back, stop at one of the oldest Khmer temples to see sun setting over Cambodian countryside, which is also breathtaking.
Day 07: Siem Reap - Australia (B/L)
Morning excursion to Tonle Sap (Great Lake) with a boat trip through the heart of Cambodia, where you will explore floating fishing villages, submerged forests, shops and restaurants in the middle of the lake.
Afternoon free for your last minute shopping until transfer to the airport for your overnight flight back to Australia.
Day 08: Australia
Morning arrival back to Australia.
